CONDITIONS

INTELLECTUAL RIGHTS

The intellectual property rights for each submitted project remain the exclusive property of the author(s) of the project.

EXHIBITION/PUBLICATION RIGHTS

All materials received by the Competition Registrar become its property, including reproduction rights.

Any submission for Competition may be viewed publicly, either on boards, slides or digitized images, at FuturArc events and BCI Asia Awards. They will also be displayed on the FuturArc website and published in the FuturArc Journal.

Projects will be presented under the names of their author or authors only, as submitted at time of registration.

The Competition Organiser reserves the right to publish any or all projects submitted.

No Entrant may publish its submission prior to announcement of Competition results on a date to be determined by Competition Organiser. To do otherwise will result in immediate disqualification from the Competition.

LANGUAGE

All submissions must be written, presented and tendered in English.

All liaisons between Entrants and the Competition Registrar must be conducted in English.

ABANDONMENT

FuturArc Prize organisers reserve the right not to proceed with the Competition for any reason.

DECLARATIONS

Through the act of submission, all Entrants declare the following:

a.     I/we accept all Competition conditions without reservations, qualifications or exclusions.

b.     I/we waive any and all claims against the Competition Organiser and its Partners which may result from the participation in FuturArc Prize Competition.

c.     I/we agree that the Competition Organiser shall have the unlimited right to publish and exhibit and otherwise use all submissions and materials tendered through any means of communication, including, but not limited to publication, presentation, display, and electronic posting for an indefinite period of time.

At the point of submission, all Entrants acknowledge the following:

a.     All submitted materials will become the property of the Competition Organiser. The use of all submitted materials is at the Competition Organiser’s discretion and without compensation to the Entrant.

b.     All submissions received will be considered public information. The Competition Organiser is not responsible for protection of intellectual property rights.

c.     The Competition Registrar reserves the right to refuse any entry into the Competition and to disqualify a submission on grounds of non-compliance.

d.     The Competition Registrar is not liable for lost, misdirected, late or substantially incomplete entries.

e.     No official endorsement of Entrant views should be inferred by participation in the Competition.
